- Download 64-bit Ubuntu Desktop ISO. For example, 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04.01 ISO.
- Download Debian multi-arch ISO. For example, Debian 8.6.0 netinst ISO.
- Create bootable USB flash drive using Rufus and 32-bit Ubuntu Desktop ISO.
- Open 64-bit Ubuntu Desktop ISO and copy
/boot
and/efi
directories to USB flash drive. - Open Debian netinst ISO and copy
/efi/boot/bootia32.efi
file and/boot/grub/i386-efi
directory to USB flash drive. - Rename
/casper/vmlinuz
file to/casper/vmlinuz.efi
file on USB flash drive.
